Well, if you're looking for a great place to stay next to Glasgow Airport, you won't go far wrong if you booked into the Ramada.

I've laid out some details to give you an insight how you'll find your stay here.

2. Directions - From Glasgow and the East, exit the M8 at Junction 28 and follow the hotel signs. From Greenock and the West Leave the M8 at Junction 29 and follow the slip road, past the Holiday Inn on the left and straight through the 1st roundabout. Turn left at the 2nd roundabout and you'll pass the hotel on your right. Turn back on yourself at the 3rd roundabout and the hotel entrance is first left.

3. Check in 14.00 - Check out 12.00.

8. Airport Transfers - Courtesy bus operates every 10 mins 05:00-11:00 & 17:00-23:00, outside these hours you should contact the hotel. The Ramada Glasgow Airport is about 500 yards from the terminal.

The overall impression of the Ramada Glasgow Airport Hotel is pretty good.

If you're staying here you'll note that the rooms are clean, tidy and certainly very trendy & stylish. It's more up-to-date than the other Airport hotels, and has a cool personality to it.

You'll find that the service is polite and efficient, albeit a little on the overcrowded side (sometimes there appear to be more staff than customers!).

The only downside seems to appear when you're dining in. The restaurant, whilst trimmed with a pretty delicious menu for the various meals throughout the day, has gained a reputation for serving meals on the drab side, and I'd suggest that if you're looking for more than just some nosh to fill you up after or before your travels, you should just take the short taxi ride into the City Centre.

Don't get me wrong though, the rest of the Ramada Glasgow Airport makes up for it and you should enjoy a calm and surprisingly quiet stay here despite it being only 500 yards from the Airport and next to the M8 Motorway!
