Radisson SAS Glasgow hotel is
a slice of cool in the City Centre

Radisson SAS Glasgow

Radisson SAS Glasgow availability

No, the Radisson SAS Glasgow hotel isn't just for members of the Special Air Service or those wacky folks who just like dressing in black clothes and a balaclava (the SAS actually stands for Scandanavian Airlines System, who formerly collaborated with the group behind these hotels), but I guess that due to exactly this type of confusion the hotel has since been rebranded as a Radisson Blu Glasgow Hotel.

Whatever you call it however, all you need to know is that this gem of a 5 star hotel is one of the top places to hang your hat at the end of a sightseeing day around Glasgow, so much so that more and more celebrities coming to Glasgow to perform or visit have been choosing to stay here instead of the traditional favourite One Devonshire Gardens along the road.

Don't let the implied cost put you off though, as with the Laterooms deals from this page you can actually stay at the Radisson SAS Glasgow for a price that won't ensure that you'll have no money to spend when you actually get here!

The Radisson SAS Glasgow is a uniquely-designed structure that you can't really encapsulate with a camera given the tight space in which it was built, but inside and out you'll be amazed in any event at its sheer scale and architectural beauty. The customer service in the hotel is fast becoming recognised as one of the most guest-geared in the City and given its location just down from Central Station and the start of the Golden Z shopping network, it really is the ideal choice.

Don't just take my word for it though - have a look below anyway and see what you think...

Hotel Reviews

Here's a sample of the many reviews for the Radisson SAS Glasgow hotel pulled from the Laterooms site:

M Smith Stayed here for one night with a friend to see Take That at Hampden. Hotel in is a great location, next door to central station and literally seconds from the main shopping area. The room we had was a good size very clean and nice and quiet. I would definatley stay here again and would highly recommend it.

L. B. The radisson was a gorgeous hotel, very neat clean and tidy. My teenage son loved the lifts!! The room was very comfortable but we had to ask for extra towels as there was only one in the room and we had booked a twin room. After our first night stay we discovered that there was no shower gel, shower cap and the tisue box was empty. This will not put me of staying at the Radisson hotels but hope that they take the above on board.

M Linton My boyfriend and I stayed at the Radisson SAS in Glasgow for one night and it was a very nice hotel. I had called prior to us arriving and arranged what type of room I wanted and to request a late check out for the next day and the employee I spoke to was extremely nice and very helpful. Furthermore, the bed was extremely comfortable and room was awesome, you definitely get what you pay for and slightly more. The only slight criticism I would have is parking. Me and boyfriend are not familiar with Glasgow so we weren't sure of where to park and there are no obvious car parks around, however once we had asked inside they pointed us to a multi-storey car park which is situated behind the hotel and they give a 25% discount to any guest who is parking in the car park. All in all a fab hotel and would definitely stay again.

Caroline M We had booked our room late and got a great deal as a result with breakfast + dinner (with bottle of wine) for a really good price. Great location for exploring the city centre on foot. We found all the staff really approachable, friendly and helpful. We parked our car in the local multi-storey and got our ticket discounted at reception before we left. We stayed on the 2nd floor and although we had the window open it was really quiet. Liked the ice machine in the corridor, thought the shower was a bit puny, and were slightly scared of the computerised mini bar until reception staff put our minds at ease. All in all had a fab 2 nights here - would definitely recommend this hotel, and would hope to stay again :)
