The Millennium Hotel Glasgow
Millennium Hotel Glasgow - George Square, Right There
The Lowdown | Facilities | Reviews | Make a Booking

It really is at the hub of everything in the centre of Glasgow - you can't get more hubby than George Square, which forms the heart of the grid of enjoyment that furls open delightfully all around the place, and stepping out into the bustling Square from the Millennium Hotel Glasgow your eyes will be popping at the sheer number of opportunities laid out before you.
Jeez that sounds like I'm working for the tourist industry! But, thankfully, I'm not, and despite that I still find myself waxing lyrical yet again about one place to stay instead of another place to stay.
Why's that? It's all about location. Slap bang in the centre. Right next to Queen Street train station and 2 minutes' walk from Glasgow Central. Just down the hill from Buchanan bus & subway stations. Steps away from the Merchant City and the Golden Z shopping network. And having sampled the actual hotel itself on quite a few occasions, its facilities really are second to none in the centre of town.
An example of that is one time when the hotel's superb customer service pulled me magnificently from the crying boredom I'd sustained during a particularly turgid seminar I was attending there, when the head chef surprised us during a morning break by making pancakes for us before our weary eyes, without our having requested it or having known in advance that we'd get fed at the seminar. For a guy who thinks mainly of how to fill his stomach, I was smiling for the rest of that day!
So have a wee read below for more info, but rest assured that if you need a reputable hotel in a perfect location, you won't go far wrong with the Millennium Hotel Glasgow.

Hotel Reviews
Here's a sample of the many reviews for the Millennium Hotel Glasgow pulled from the Laterooms site:
Gail M Found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. Good, clean room with lovely view over George Square, breakfast was standard hot/cold buffet fare. Tariff perhaps a little high but given central location understandable.
Christopher P Easy to access by train from London, good sized airy room and en-suite, adequate lifts and wide staircases; breakfast, continental, buffet including make your own toast, not really up to expected standard - poor diluted juices; helpful at reception desk. Good base for exploring Glasgow.
John M Good stopover for travellers with early start from city centre. ideal for city break and as a base for tours to Loch Lomond, Clyde Coast. and Southern Highlands. Less than an hour from Edinburgh by train from the adjacent Queen Street station.
E Green Traditional solid railway hotel. Very convenient. Junior suite very spacious and good value at late rooms rate. Breakfast buffet disappointing - best to stay at table and order cooked breakfast direct from kitchen. Staff very helpful. Conservatory area in bar excellent. Would stay again.
