Limo hire Glasgow fun

Limo hire GlasgowOne thing's for sure here - when it comes to having fun with your limo hire Glasgow just does it that little bit better.

Have a look at my quick guide, and learn why if you get your mates together you'll find you won't have to break the bank between you all to have a great experience you'll never forget.

As no-one likes a show-off here though, you might want to avoid attracting too much attention...

I've been saying it all along...

Here's an extract from a wee article from the Evening Times newspaper.

Friendly Glasgow a hit for tourists

By John McCann

A WARM-HEARTED Glasgow welcome is still the biggest selling point for Scotland's best city, overseas visitors say.

Foreign tourists in a survey named spending time with 'friendly people' as their holiday highlight ahead of the city's shops and cultural attractions.

But Kelvingrove and the Gallery of Modern Art remain the biggest attractions for UK-based holidaymakers.

The 2007 Glasgow Visitor Survey found that 22 percent, almost a quarter, of foreign visitors loved the bonhomie of ordinary Glasgow punters.

Almost 75 percent of all holidaymakers quizzed said they were on their second or subsequent visit here. And 69 percent said the city was the main or only reason for their trip to the UK.

The study, by marketing group LJ Research, polled more than 3000 people throughout last year.

Visitors gave the range and quality of attractions, accommodation and tourist information top marks, awarding their trips 8.45 out of 10 on average.

Research expert Lynn Jones said: 'The results of this study are a huge pat on the back to the people of Glasgow. Their friendly attitude is encouraging visitors to make the most of their time here.'

Ms Jones said: 'The people who visit Glasgow seem to enjoy their experience as a whole. Activities such as shopping, nightlife and simply enjoying the architecture were all popular, while nearly half said they appreciated the variety of activities and attractions on offer. As host of the Commonwealth Games in 2014, Glasgow appears to be getting it spectacularly right when it comes to attracting tourists.'

Visitors also gave Glasgow more than seven out of 10 for safety, value for money, transport, restaurants and cleanliness.

Well, what can I say, I'm blushing now...

It's been a little quiet on the old site of late, but you can be sure that I've been working solidly in the background over the last few weeks, all the techy stuff that gets me noticed online etc., but I'm pretty much done with that now so will be trying in the next few weeks to get the around Glasgow section completed, and might even try out a few restaurants for you.

In the meantime, feel free to keep uploading your best photos and stories in my little Photo Box for everyone to see.
