You'll find the Jurys Inn Glasgow hotel on Jamaica Street - what jamaica that?
Eh?...Eh?!!
Sorry, that wasn't called for! These days it seems that everywhere I travel I'll look whether the place I'm heading to has a Jurys Inn, basically because you can usually expect from them the same level of cost, comfort and location. The one in Glasgow's no different from the rest, so I'm more than happy to recommend it here.
The hotel is near both Central and Queen Street train stations, and is round the corner from the buzzing Argyle Street (start of our much-adored Golden Z of shopping in Glasgow), only a walk away from Buchanan Street underground, George Square, and not too far from the SECC. It really is a great location for everthing you're looking for out of the City Centre in particular, including some of the best shops, bars and restaurants we have to offer.

Some of the vast array of facilities here are 321 rooms, disabled facilities, air conditioning in rooms, cots available, meeting facilities, the very appealing Innfusion restaurant, satellite TV, smoking rooms available, tea/coffee making facilities in each room, hairdryer & telephone in each room, laundry/valet service, wake up call available, currency exchange, interconnecting rooms available, lift to all floors, and car parking available offsite.

S. Matthews Very good budget hotel. Very centrally located - handy for all central shops / attractions. Staff helpful and friendly. Facilities basic, but clean and up-to-date. Of the budget chains I have used, this was the best. While I gave the 'room quality' only as a 4, this reflects the basic level of its facilities. It was clean, smart and comfortable - so perhaps 4 is a bit unfair.

Colin Stewart Hotel was really central, and handy discounted car park (get hotel to process your permit just as you are leaving) across the street. Two supermarkets (Lidl & Somerfields) within a minutes walk. A few pubs within a minutes walk. McDonalds (for the kids) just a few doors up the street. Breakfast (buffet) a bit pricey at £10.50 per head for an Adult, but was excellent quality and you could eat as much as you wanted. Staff were all very polite and helpful. We will certainly stay here again.

N. Dison Had a great stay. Very central for all the shops.Three in our room, only provided towels for two. When we rang down, towels arrived within 5 minutes. Excellent service. Great room provided to leave bags and luggage. All labelled. Trouble free stay. Would definitely stay again.
