When I visit cities where there's so much going on, so many things to do and see, the only main consideration I usually have when I'm looking for a place to stay is the cost.
All I really need is place to rest my head - if it's clean & tidy, the staff are pleasant and I can get a good night's sleep, nine times out of ten I'll be happy - in this day and age I still consider myself lucky that I have enough cash to travel and afford a hotel in the first place!
At the Ibis Glasgow City Centre hotel, you'll be glad to know that you'll find the best budget hotel in town that ticks all those boxes. If my uncle who's a rich Professor can sleep there happily with his family as he's done in the past, then for me that says it all!
So if you're like me and don't need much from a hotel but still want it clean, tidy, quiet, comfortable and happy, the Ibis Glasgow City Centre should be your first choice. The location makes it even better, as it's the same distance walk to all the City Centre shopping & train, subway and bus stations, and even though it's very close to the nightlife and many great restaurants, the walls are thick enough to keep it out once you've called it a day.

Anne M I cannot fault this hotel in any way. Friendly and helpful reception staff, spacious and clean room, windows closed tightly to block out any noise although it was quiet anyway on the 6th floor, smooth quiet lifts. I would definitely use this hotel again.
Irvine M A hotel is basically a 4 wall exterior with lots of 4 walled units inside it. :) Its the staff that bring the hotel to life...! When its comes to customer care and friendliness, the Ibis in Glasgow has it in bucket fulls... We only had a short two day stay, but the staff and their personalities made it much better... keep up the great work!
David B The location of the hotel was ideal for our stay with all areas of the city centre in easy walking distance. The room was spacious and comfortable and although in the city centre, there was no problem with noise.
We only had a continental breakfast in the hotel which was fair value for money.
S Walker This hotel does what it says on the tin. Good quality food, excellent customer service and clean rooms. This was my first stay at the Ibis and would return.
