This picture reminds me of my days as a poor student at Strathclyde University, just round the corner from the Cathedral, as I had a perfect view of it from my digs window. Haven't been back since but will be meeting up with some old friends there in the New Year. If you're going to the cathedral you should also browse around the High Street area, taking in the oldest house and the necropolis (don't let the fact it's a graveyard put you off....if you go during the day it's actually a great experience!!!).

Thanks for submitting this great view of the Cathedral John. It's not often that I see it being photographed from this angle and it's turned out very well (particularly given that for once it's not raining...). Please feel free to submit more of the same - the more the merrier!
