Bella Napoli is fine for a quick and convenient bite to eat. The food tastes reasonably good and the place has a decent atmosphere. However, in my opinion the service is of a poor standard generally and the dishes are very much the same as the majority of other Italian restaurants in the city.
The menu does not change by seaosn which can also be frustrating. Seasonal produce is reallya fundamental aspect to Italian cuisine.
As someone previously mentioned, the poster Cristina (most probably the owners daughter) was quite derogatory about La Fiorentina.
In my opinion, La Fiorentina is by far the finest Italian restaurant in the city and although Bella Napoli is good for convenience; if I want to go out for a nice Italian meal then it is La Fiorentina for me every time. The owner Nuncio is as good a host as you will find.
All in all however, Bella Napoli is of decent standard and I wouldn't be deterred from going as the food is reaosnably nice.

Not sure why you didn't want to leave your name after your comment. Everyone is of course entitled to have their say. Regardless of who wrote the review though, please remember that whether you enjoy a restaurant or not is nothing other than subjective. Every person has their own view, so if you don't like a place, don't eat there, and please don't assume that just because you don't like it, everyone else has to share your view. If you do have a favourite restaurant however, I'd love to hear about it!

funny how the glowing recommendations are by a girl who has the same name as the owners daughter...and one of the chefs....truth is the staff are undervalued(5% of each restaurants tips go to the owner)and food overpriced.....no thanks dom,think id rather go to blue lagoon!!

Brilliant review Cristina. I go there quite a lot and it's always buzzing. I think I remember the world's most expensive pizza you're talking about, the Pizza Royale 007 a few years back which went for about 2,000 pounds for charity (just to make sure everyone knows that's not the usual price for a pizza there!). I'd be happy to join Cristina in this recommendation!
